my grandpa thought the McRib was a culinary masterpiece…anytime McDonalds re-released this sandwich my Grandpa was all over it….”mother lets go get a McRib while it lasts”…they would drive 13 miles going 40 MPH, grandpa eyeballing the speedometer the whole way to ensure Grandma’ didn’t accelerate past a speed that would deny him from ‘seeing what the crops looked like’….he would always get just one…ensuring him a reason to come back tomorrow for another.

POISON singer Bret Michaels, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT and FOGHAT are among the confirmed acts for the Rib America Festival, set to take place May 28-31, 2010 in downtown St. Louis, Missouri at Soldier’s Memorial Plaza.  Admission to Rib America is free before 5 p.m. May 28, and before 1 p.m. the other days. Admission is $5, which includes the concerts. Children 12 and under get in free. Reserved seating is available in front of the stage through Ticketmaster. Those tickets include $10 in food and beverage coupons. For more information, visit www.ribamerica.com.
